I bought my Rialta new 2000, now has about 75,000 highway miles on it, I use it for work in 5 SE states, vehicle has proven to be most undependable, problematic I have ever owned, speaking only of the VW portion, has been an absolute nightmare since about 30K, have replaced plug wires(vw only part $200), coil (VW 350}, injector (VW $180), throttle body (VW $400} not including labor, tranny is now slipping, what's next? Replacing tires has been a nightmare, finding VW places to service (only have to drive about 60 miles, local dealer won't touch it) I just don't believe the VW portion of the vehicle is built to handle the load, and the rear springs have been replaced-that is a Winnebago portion of vehicle, rear end is underbuilt as well, ask yourself why other similar rears have twin tires, but not Rialta? Maybe Winnebago had trouble getting tires for this thing too! If it was a horse, I'd shoot it, I'm considering putting in another type engine and transmission, any info on that would be appreciated, Buyer Beware!!!! The Rialta is not made for the long haul, buy the extended warranty, there is no question you will need it
