Follow-Up:
I have a 2000 QD and have had the same problems, also have had it checked with no sucess, I ended up trading the 7100 btu unit with an energy efecient 13000 btu which uses very little extra amperage, It works very well, the old unit is just not big enough to cool the coach on a hot day especially if the back window is facing the sun and if the unit has been heat soaked for a period of time. My dealer work with me and traded for $300.00, I know it seems like a lot but just one day cooking in the sun will change your mind.
