RE: Warranties

Follow-Up:

Just keep in mind that extended RV warranties are almost always "inclusive", meaning that if it is not specifically stated in the documentation, then it is NOT covered. An example of this is what I encountered with my previous RV: Had a bad roof AC unit, and the dealership elected to repair it. Turns out that my extended warranty would only cover the replacement of the AC and not a repair, so had the dealer just replaced it everything would've been fine. Instead, I got stuck with the repair bill. So read everything carefully, think about what you would want covered and make sure it's mentioned. Also, as a personal opinion, I think you're wasting your money on an extended warranty now. Winnebago covers the rig bumper to bumper for 2 years/24k miles, powertrain is covered for 5 years/50k miles, and the emissions systems are covered for 8 years/80k miles (the emissions warranty might be more or cover more depending on your state of residence). I would wait until the original warranty expires and then re-assess your situation. Most after-market warranties are intended to cover used RVs, which is what yours would be after 2 years/24k miles.
