I own a 2001 Rialta which I purchased from Winnebego Dealership about 10 miles from my home. Since I owned it for the past year, I had only minor problems that I had to return back to the dealership for. I, however, did run into the situation of VW dealership that could work on it. It ends up I can only take it to a VW dealership that was approx. 30 miles away. The problem with having to take it to a far away dealship is that logistically it is difficult since you usually have to leave your vehicle at the dealer for some time. I had to arrange for transportation to and from the VW place and if it is a constant chore I can be in trouble. The Winnebego do many fixing of little minor problems that I had and seemed very good and efficient. I enjoyed the Rialta very much and loved every moments that I am behind the wheel of it.. as long as my next service is not getting close yet (stomach tightening). Anyway, for those out there that is thinking about getting one, make dead certain you have a VW dealership that can work on it close by. Otherwise, you might want to consider one of those Chevy or Ford conversions.. Good luck!!!
