It sounds like your father has had more than his fair share of problems with the Rialta. The issue with finding VW dealers willing to work on them is well known and for the reason that you stated, they don't have big enough lifts. Winnebago is certainly not going under and sales of the Rialta increase every year and will probably go higher if gas prices remain high. They have an e-mail address and you could try that.
