Rialta is not the only bad Winnebago product

My parents, both in their 70's, bought a 2001 24'V Minnie Winnebago in the Fall of 2000. This Winter, my father noticed extensive water damage in the upper compartment above the driver's seat. The sealant on the roof had corroded, causing water to leak into the RV. The customer service department at Winnebago was extremely rude to my father when he called. They said that it is the owner's responsibilty to climb onto the roof every 6 months to check the condition of the roof seal. The damage is not covered under the warranty. They basically told my father that it was HIS fault that the damage occured because he has not checked the roof seal! Winnebago is the worst company to deal with and they absolutely DO NOT stand behind their products! If you are considering buying a Winnebago, do yourself a favor and take you business elsewhere! Once Winnebago has your money...you are no longer any of their concern.
