Hello, Dan: Re: Rialta reliability. The major problems are with the engines and getting service mainly because of hoist not high or strong enough or no pit. Look at Consumers Report. Check out all Consumer Reviews on the various engines that Volks Wagon uses in the Rialta. Check this out with all vehicles that Volks Wagon uses the Rialta engines in. You`ll find that most (if not all) engines get a very good review from Consumers. I`m not a Winnebago plant. I live in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. Our winters here are 40 below fahrenheit. The Volkswagon products stand up very well here. You`ve set up this web site to warn potential Rialta people about the product. You`ve given it a good go. Maybe give it a rest now. You`ve done your job and a good one too. I`m not a Rialta owner. I`ll be retiring in a couple of years so decided to check out rvs. I don`t own one. Don`t know what I want. Maybe a Rialta, maybe a fifth wheel. Probably depends on whether my wife and I want to sit and relax or be on the move.
