Follow-Up:

My wife and I just returned from a six week trip from LA to Nova Scotia/Quebec, about 5,000 miles. We are still talking to each other. OBD light came on near Toronto, went to a VW dealer in Scarborough, Ontario. The service writer didn't think they could get it into a service bay due to turning radius. The service manager overheard us and said they sure could, they sure could, just wait until bay #1 is available, it was a straight shot in and out from the main door. They charged me $42.50 (Canadian) to check the OBD. problem was 'misfire due to moisture', no service required. We have close to 50,000 miles on rig now, the 40,000 mile service cost us $700.00 in Long Beach Calif. No other problems, except tires, now have about 20,000 miles on Continental Vango tires with no problems.
