Follow-Up:
Further Update: I discovered that Monroe makes shock absorbers for a 1995 Rialta and decided to have Sensa-Trac Truck shock absorbers (#37195) installed in the rear. Wow, what a difference! The shocks are substantially bigger than the original shocks and make the ride very nice. Well worth the money.
