It has, however, given us troubles: Last Winter, going down the highway we had a back wheelbearing burn up. Got loaded unto a "roll back" and were lucky to find repair only 8 miles away--in Ohio. This winter, heading for the South our "temperature light" came on. On inspection we decided we had a broken water hose. We called for a roll back and got hauled into a VW service garage. They discovered that the water line had broken because the shock tower had pulled away on the left rear wheel--they were unable to fix it. We located a repair shop; had it hauled there. Again, they were unable/unwilling to try to fix it; they said they felt that this was a design defect and that we should contact Winnebago. We called Winnebago in Iowa and asked their manager to call us; they never returned our call. The repair shop recommended another repair/body shop that works on motor homes 40 miles away so we had it hauled there. It has been there for over a month and they have not yet decided whether or not they feel they can do the job. They too, immediately said they felt this was a serious design flaw; if this were an automobile it would be "recalled." They felt confident that we should be contacting Winnebago; that with this design they surely must have had numerous similar problems. We called Winnebago Customer Service in Iowa and the ONLY comments they gave us: "Sorry mam, it is out of warranty. Call your dealership." I assured the man I was more than aware that the 7 year old motor home was out of warranty; I wasn't expecting him to give me a new one; but after being on the telephone for over 4 hours trying to find someone to take a look at it and consider repairing it I simply wanted them--"Public Relations," "Customer Service," to help me find someone/somewhere to get it repair without having it hauled back to Iowa. Have any other Rialta owners out there had any similar problems? My husband is ready to throw in the towel on the Rialta. I haven't seen another small RV that holds a candle to this one. . . if only. . .
