Follow-Up:
Bought a used Rialta last summer (1995 model) with less than 40,000 miles. Two weeks after I bought it, the a/c compressor went out; froze up and the belt broke. It costs over $2.000.00 to replace the entire unit since all of the lines had to be replaced because of the metal shavings. If you do not replace the lines the metal shavings will merely work their way to the new compressor and it will "lock up". You will start all over again. The problem should not happen. I have owned cars for 40 years and have never had that problem.
