Follow-Up:

I'm not sure if you're talking about a Rialta or not. At 5'9", you should be able to clear anywhere in the Rialta, and not just at the skylight. Although the roof is rather low (I should know, I'm 6'3"), pretty much anyone under 5'11" or so should be able to stand straight up in the main walkway. I'm also not sure what Rialta you were in that had a Kohler generator -- all later model Rialtas come with Onans, and previous ones came with Generacs. Are Kohler and Generac connected somehow -- maybe that's why I don't understand? If not, then you're looking at a generator that's been switched out. When you're sleeping in a rear dinette model with the dinette made into a bed, just sleep with your feet on the generator side to reduce the noise level. With your head at the opposite end and if you're running the A/C, you're not going to notice much of the generator noise anyway. If you're not running the A/C, then you don't need the generator while you're sleeping anyway. Can't help you with the twin bed other than to suggest sleeping with your head on the opposite end of the bed (which is away from the shirt closets and a potential head-banging anyway). I don't know if I would go for a Toyota RV. If they would come out with a new one based on the Tundra, that might be a different story, but the older Toyota RVs are notoriously overloaded to the point of being dangerous and they are very top-heavy. Just because it's a Toyota, don't think that the service will improve over VW because most Toyota dealerships will not work on them because of their weight and outside dimensions. I like my Rialta, but I do wish there was a better Toyota option. I think a great alternative would be a nice, small Class A motorhome with a Toyota drivetrain and beefed up chassis.
