We own a 1997 Rialta 222RC with the V-6 Engine. We have owned 7 other Motorhomes & this is without a doubt the nicest Motorhome we have had. We had the Contenintal Tire recall in 1998 & are still very apprehensive about thier tires We are going to take a trip to Alaska this summer & I have been doing some checking on Tires & seeing all other Rialta Tire problems. I do not like the smaller tires on the front, this ubit is very heavy on the front axle & I like to be able to rotate my tires. I have been looking at the LT215/75R-15 6 ply which is a light truck tire with all season tread & is available at any tire shop. I want to put these on all 4 wheels !!! The 195/70 on the front have an overall height pf 26.2 Inches & the light truck 215's have an overall height of 27.6 Inches, my tire man says this will not change my power or Speedometer that much. My next step is to mount them up & drive it to see how they effect the power, speedometer & ride. What do you Forum readers think of this idea & have any of you out there tried this idea ??? I would really like to hear from you other Forum readers & Rialta owners, thanks for any help you can give me.
