Follow-Up:
Jim: I think there's a gizmo in the propane feed line that shuts it off when the fridge isn't level. (See the manual) We use the battery position when traveling as it seems to work fine. The only thing you have to watch is the fridge temp, seems the thermostat isn't in the circuit when you run on batt and keeps getting colder and colder....you get the picture. Also you need to remember to turn it off if you park for awhile as it will probably freeze your stuff.
