my 2000 rialta has only 6500 miles on it. she ran beautifully on a trip to mexico and back and has sat in the driveway all winter. When I went to use it again, the engine trouble light went on. We got it to Bakersfield CA where it was bought, the RV dealer took it to VW who said it was a transmission problem but they can't fix it. How could this happen just sitting in the driveway? Our next trip, planned for the end of May, is up in the air which is more than I can say for the rialta. Nobody has a lift that can raise it so they can fix the tranny. We're very upset and don't know what to do. Does anybody know anyone who can repair a suddenly slipping tranny on the rialta?
